After a bit of detective work with Google earth (am I a sad man??) on the National 12 site, I would say it's definately Henley SC, which is actually on the Shiplake stretch of river, about 3-4000m upstream from Henley Lock, a stretch of river which is less familiar to us oarsmen in the assotiation, but a very pretty stretch if ever you get a chance to paddle up there. Its a bit like the Hamptons, with lots of eye watering millionaires mansions on the riverbank. Oh for a bonus culture.

I expect a look through the class handbook (if you have one)will show N3418, 3433, 812 or 3345 to be a henley registered boat, (which incidentally places the photo at 1998 at the earliest (the date of construction for 3433)

On looking at other photos on Henley's site I find that Eric is not 812, but 2818. I thought it strange that the shadow seen through the sail is "28" it mt be the way the sail is curved it hides the first digit.
