There is a serious risk that this thread (which could be fun) will get shifted to Chat or Banter.

Might I flirt with the moderator by adding this one (which I rather like, especially the contents!,) also up on ebay at present.

The thought I had was that the Pedalo Police launch might make rather good Committee Boat at Shearwater... or perhaps a Referee's launch at an Optimist team racing event :)

Maybe Nessa could use it to control those runaway mirror sailors at the National Rally!

The moth sailors might like this as a development of the pedalo...

That's a good workout!

Had to revive this thread for this one. (Although I think we have in fact seen one of these before!)

Definitely has to be good for a Shearwater Rescue/patrol boat?

Going back many years, perhaps 1920s/30s, there used to be the Swan and Cygnet moored in the Exe at Starcross. Not that even I can remember that far back.

No, my memory does not fail me, and it keeps this thread vaguely on topic :D

Here are some of the details, and Swan is older than I thought.

Now who will buy one of those pedalos and rig it with a mast and sails?

Would you believe I originally found them in a book detailing the history of the railway from Exeter to Newton Abbot. It just shows you cannot disregard anything.
