Roadford July 2017

Post by Pat »

Roadford are currently running an offer for campers to save 15% if they book themselves in online through the new website before 1st March and use a promo code.

The link is
https://www.southwestlakes.co.uk/camping/roadford-lake

If anyone wants to do this, pm me for the code

I've just saved £15 on my weekend booking for the cvrda event. Note the pitch numbers have changed so you need to check the site camping leaflet online for the pitch number you want.

I wasn't going to risk losing my already booked pitch - since it was available on line on the new system it can't have been held for me even though I booked way back in September!

Hi
Checked with Roadford O&A my pitch was still booked, which I reserved before the new system came in. That may be because I'm a member. I would advise other people to check on the campsite log in.
Cheers Alan

I'm not organized yet, but should be coming with the family.
I hear Ronny and Frans are preparing for this event too.

What are chances of finding a campsite at this late stage ? I have a small one man tent, car and trailer.

Phone up South West Lakes at Roadford and ask. They run the site and will be the only ones who can tell you.

even if in theory they run out of camping pitches...

Hi
I tried recently to book a space for my motorhome on line to find that all pitches were booked. However when I went up to sail my boat on the Sunday only 3 pitches were in use. I spoke to Sara in the office at Roadford and she confirmed to me that there is/was a problem with the online booking service. She advised me to phone Roadford Outdoor and Active to check when ever I wanted to bring the Motorhome up. However if Your Booking was Confirmed Online it's booked.

Hi, Guys.

We seem to be suffering with a spate of unfortunate incidents at the moment. I'm aware of Robert aiming to be there, and Dean. Is anyone aware of any others? I'm not sure we can call this the Minisail Nationals if there's just two or three Minisails there.

Regards, David

Hi David
Lets just play it by ear and see who does turn up. Remember everyone qualifies for the CVRDA event. Except some of the "modern Int.Moths". As to calling it a Nationals that up to you.
