Just putting 2009 holiday plans in place - do we have an up to date list of what events are when. please?

I would appreciate this too. Still mourning the loss of Frensham.

It would be good too, to have a date to aim to have our boat ready for. I notice a bit of a geographical gap around my area. it may be too late now, but I could ask for an event at Priory SC in Bedford, especially if the Herons could take part.

Thanks for the dates, Neil.
The Jollyboat will look great on the Thames!
Looks like we have June and September completely clear for those clubs who were looking to run something? And March, of course! Anyone want a Plastic Fantastic event whilst all the wooden boats are tucked up in bed? And I'm sure Whitefriars could be pursuaded to put on something for 1/2 a dozen hardy souls with frost proof boats if there are any takers in late Jan/feb?

I have emailed the Sailing Committee with the dates and hope that we can come up with something to fill a gap.

I'm game.

It will be a good chance to see what breaks or falls off the Pisces. I am changing a few things and still trying to work out how anyone sailed it as it was. The tiller fouls on the rear deck so am making an ally spacer to lift it off the stock. The mainsheet block is currently mounted under the toestrap so the mainsheet would have needed to be passed underneath the toestrap at every tack or jibe. I need also to put it back to rear sheeting to stop the skinny boom doing banana impersonations (this may also solve the problem of a very weak kicker). Nothing major in terms of work but a bit of thought required and something is bound to fall off first time out.

I'm sure we could get an old Lark out. If it happens could we invite the other old Larks to join us as the class is trying to get the Classic wing going.
Tip - avoid 7th/8th March as it's dinghy show and some other winter opens.

I'll have a chat with some of the committee at the weekend and see what we can come up with. Though maybe we should think of a couple of dates in case the weather is totally foul on the 1st one...
It would need to be on a Sunday, with a couple of races, fitting into the racing already on, so as to have rescue cover.

As 2146 is a composite does she count as a plastic fantastic?
Seriously though, depending on the date I'd probably be able to come.
