Tempting, especially with the children away! Presumably the hamdicap is open to any age boat?

Yep, handicap open to any age boat. There should be a mixed bunch of Fifteens,Canoes, Buzzes, Lasers, RSs etc.

We should see three plankers there (Roadford Lake Synchronised Swimming Team to reform).

I'm hoping to also get the Tideway on the water (only 8 coats of varnish to go.....), well in the water, as it should be interesting to see how much she takes up.
