Sadly it looks like we are in Cambridge that weekend, as Kathryn is working there the following week, and we are going to visit Pippa's godmother for a couple of days first. This is a shame, because Chippenham, while possibly lacking something in the width department, provides a wonderful weekend of entertainment and chat. If you've never been, and own a boat which turns, don't miss it! Sliding seats probebly a mistake...

We are trying to make this one, depends on what work throws up and if the Tideway actually floats when launched.

Sadly we have no chance of winning anything though as too much time has been spent varnishing the boat.

Is it get at me time?
Maybe you could have an extra point on your Tideway's handicap for each layer of varnish over say 5 coats, to allow for the extra drying time?
Had a beautiful breeze this weekend for our 6 hour race - not a rain squall in sight - so it can't be me who brings the hail storms and force 6 gusts - I reckon it is like that every weekend, but you cover it up?

Mark, Lois and I can make the saturday but not the Sunday unfortunately.
We might be interested in a trip in a 12 (or a moth if Lois can't make the day) If your 12 is still available could you pencil our name in please?

Sorry mark, only 1 box of wine left, blame it on the balmy evenings watching the sunset.....
Any chance of an idea of how many for the BBQ on Saturday?

Hi Mark,
I may be coming without Lois as something else has cropped up for her. One the other hand Steve Winter is coming. He may bring a firefly, or we may ask for the N12 or he may like a go in a MOth. (You get the drift? we have no idea what we'll be sailing!)
John and Lyn are planning to come to I think (tell them to get their own computer!)
