Chippenham does offer something a little different and I had great fun this weekend. Thanks to Mark, Karen and all who made it made it a success. Chippenham has something of a time warp quality ( in the nicest possible sense) which fits perfectly with vintage boats.(It so nice to be one of the youngest sailors again!!!!!)( I have just enjoyed the bottle of Merlot I won, as you may quess) Thouroughly enjoyed sailing your 12, Mark, and yes, I have some fine bruises that just coincide with your wooden toe straps and I won't make a charge for dredging the river this time.

I'm sure you have convinced Steve he needs a Moth.

Please pass on my thanks to Mary for a great BBQ and very enjoyable evening with all concerned.
CU at Frensham I hope.

I have a boat waiting (could be a long time) a GP14 that was being scraped, to be cut in half for a seat, but havn't had either time or someone to help move it. Would really like a prettier boat, know of any going that are past their sailing days?

A hornet would make a longer seat Roger! Slice it along the keel and get two long garden benches. Turn the sliding seat into a see-saw for the kids and the sail into an awning for the next Chippenham BBQ - perfic!

Mary, if you are 'altering' a boat, I'm looking for a couple of bits of brass keel band as in either side of a centreboard casing. If there is anything left over from your transformations ..

Thanks Mark that would be much appreciated. It's for John's merlin 36.

By the way have you seen Nick's note that the campsite at frensham is closed. Still thinking about what to do.

Hi Mark, "Rupert the blank is at the club"...fill in the missing word... Bear? Bas****? Took me a few seconds to work out what you meant! Feeling slow this morning! Thank you!

Chris, there is brass strip all along the bottom of the old GP14., but you will have to come and extract it.

Chris I am mortally offended at your suggestion particularly as your handiwork means she is actually floating. I will suggest a keel hauling or similar at roadford.
Mary the ent is at warminster but the owner doesnt know yet. I will approach him.
