Roger,

Thanks Jon for reminding me that you'd not lost your touch with the "it came off in my hand Mum" stakes - though be warned one and all, this may yet to be proven to be a contagious disease affecting classic boat sailors!

Seriously Roger, I was cursing my luck (well, your luck actually) as I wanted a picture of your sail, two pictures would have been better. Had I got them, then Imight just have sat down and written the story of 'Battengate'.....

David, I am sure we can arrange a pic session in the garden. If not you will have to wait until after the re build. Have to say I am quite nervous about "opening her up" as the inside of the boat hasnt seen the light of day for 50+ years and I am not sure what I might find. However she was well built in her day so hopefully all will be ok.

Just back from Scotland and shifting student home from Sheffield uni. so I will post the pictures sometime this week - they have to be sized and thumbnailed first for Coppermine.
