All,

Day 1 at Hunts was brilliant, despite the wind playing all sorts of tricks. To be honest, it never really blew properly at all, odd gusts here and then filtered their way across the lake, pointedly steering past Pat and Sandy in the Albacore. Even when Sandy did get some breeze, he managed to prove that indeed "pride cometh before the fall" as in posing for the photographer, he dropped his tiller and di an impromptu 360 turn.

Have some good picture which will be posted to Y&Y

Our thanks to Nessa, Nicky, Andy the RO and all the folk at Hunts for a welcoming weekend, despite the light winds which kept us down the fleet. Results are now on the main cvrda front page.
Sandy's off to find a longer tiller extension!

Thanks to everyone who came to Hunts and made it such a great event. The combination with the Merlins and SigneTs worked really well, so much so I suspect we will do it again. The club itself has a great positive attitude towards the cvrda and I hope we can keep this going for some time to come.

Hi Nessa, yes, a wonderful weekend again and thanks for the extra wind on Sunday.

Thanks also to my two great crew, it was a pleasure to sail with you and get the Jollyboat going properly for a change! Hope we can do it again soon.

Get better soon Nessa and hope to see you at future meetings

For those of you who missed Hunts, I think this picture says it all!

FUN!

If other clubs can match the Hunts welcome, then I'm sure we're in for a good season
