We will be there Sat AM or lunch time, depending upon whether we leave Friday evening and stop on the way (kids being collected from Southampton airport Friday PM...).

Now planning on bringing Mirror and Firefly, and having boys in the Firefly and girls in the Mirror, as Kathryn wants to be able to duck out of races if feeling poorly.

Also, Kathryn's birthday on Sunday, so will need help with singing, drinking bubbly and eating a cake, please!

Hiya all

A trip planned to lovely Clywedog this weekend for myself, Cath, my glamorous assistant Jen, and the Flying Dutchman.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, Flying Dutchman rides on offer - depending on weather and sobriety - for anyone who asks nicely, or offers me a go in a moff ( last tried in 1978, with my Chelsea Morning )

Kieth mate, have you a time yet for the commencement of festivities on Saturday, and please can we have space for the camper, and a tent.

cheers

Julian

Afraid we have had to change our plans for the weekend, so won't be able to attend. Shame as I bought the Hit specifically to get back into CVRDA racing as was already salivating at the thought of the local Pork Pies.

Since I'm probably the first one home, and therefore the first to post, May I just say what a wonderful weekend it has been.

Much thanks has to go to Kieth Rollinson and the Clywedog Sailing Club for putting on such a great event, all made the better by the not-inconsiderable turnout, and some rather nice beers.

A full report will no doubt be put up shortly, hopefully with lots of photos [we had a photographer along who happily snapped away the whole weekend].

Again a big 3 cheers to Kieth and the team.

Many thanks to all at Clywedog for a great weekend... Very enjoyable to stretch K60's legs with more space than on my usual river, also great to sail alongside some interesting and beautiful boats!

Looking forward to next time.

I'd like to echo the above. Always a great place to go, even in the rain, and the club house really does have the best view in Britain out of the windows!

May I thank everyone at Clywedog for a great time even though for health reasons I did not sail every race.
Great job Mick and Keith.

Thanks to Clywedog for another great weekend (I'm sure they didn't organise the rain!), great club, great food and great CVRDA company as usual.

My thanks to Keith and team for organising, to Pat and Sandy for their warm friendship and to Ian for his time and perseverance with my sailing and thanks to Dean for crewing again.

Hoping to see you all at the next one.....
