Trophies Return

Post by Pat »

Please could I remind the holders of the returnable trophies to bring or send them to the Nationals. If you can't come please post up here and maybe the trophy can be passed to someone travelling.

So far I here the following: (handed in, not won I might add.)
Travellers, ( half a 14)
most travelled (bell)
ist Vintage boat
Fastest Boat,
Youngest competitor
Ist plastic boat ( this might be a spare)
and two of the three concours trophies

That leaves the wing nut which we are not sure of it whereabouts
Ist Classic
1st Old boat.

I'm not sure if we have a lost class trophy. But I think Sam kindly offered to produce something along our traditional lines of bronze fittings.

If you do have one of these please try and get it to HUnts.

Does John Andrews still have the wingnut? He did have it last time we did a search and was going to pass it to Rupert. Do you still have it John?

Saskia won the Classic wing last year, but I don't know whether we got the trophy. My memory is not, and I can't see it on the trophy shelf. (Very small corner of shelf, I should add!)

Who won it the time before?

mmm. can't remember who won the previous classic wing.
I have the plastic duck trophy here, though I think this may be mark 2 version.

Don't forget these are trophies from the Nationals rather than prizes from other events.

It was 2014 Saskia won it... wasn't there last year! Did 1066 with Tim and Pat win? Most of top 10 are old?
