Skua 'Ysolt'

Post by jpa_wfsc »

Ysolt is now for sale.

The skua is best described as a hard chine keel asssisted two person racing dinghy. 2 Foot shorter than a flying fifteen at 18 foot long, Good performance in a breeze and excelent on estury waters, designed with a lifting keel so she can be left on drying moorings. Complete with a sturdy road / launching trailer, all rigging and a good set of sails, with a useable storm mainsail. The only non-capsizeable boat in the cvrda fleet to have capsized therby earning the infamous wing nut trophy....

Basicaly - too big for regular sailing on our lake at Whitefriars. Very sad to be moving this one on but just have too many boats to justify keeping this in case we go sea sailing this year. I will always treasure the 1 hour three sail broad reach up the Solent in a F4 - 5 of a few years ago - Champagne Sailing!

Interested? PM me.

Best Wishes

Up for sale again, I do not know if the vendor is the person I sold Ysolt to.

I think the price might be a bit high! Also of course Ysolt is all marine ply - no GRP. She now looks a bit sad to me.
