Free Enterprise Booms

Post by Merlin3241 »

I've just been given two very lovely wooden Enterprise booms. They're in fabulous order and can be used straight away without any work. I've no need for them and wonder if any CVRDA person wants them for their boat, gratis. I'm down in Plymouth but could deliver them anywhere on the Plymouth -Truro corridor or potentially could courier them at your cost. PM me if you're interested. I've enough handy bits laying around already but these are too good for the fire!

They also fit an early merlin by the way so please don't burn them as I know a couple of people that might need them.

Chris
I'd be pleased if anyone can make use of them. If you can re-home them on a Merlin that's fine by me.

I might be keen for a 59 Enterprise I've been resoring; A wooden mast and boom are on the wish list, although I have to get the thing finished first
I'm up in North Devon so not too far, although I might struggle to get down to you before Christmas.
Do you know what wood they are made from and do you have any pictures at all?
Thanks Jimmy

Hi
I think one's still available - Jimmywantscake needs one but I've yet to arrange how to get it to him. The other's still looking for a home. I'll look into the cost of couriers, unless you're coming down to Roadford this year? There's little to chose between them. PM me your e mail and I'll forward some jpegs.

I also have a wooden Merlin boom which I was given because it was being thrown out. Could bring it to Clwedog.

thank you MERLIN and ROGER - peteratbradwell@hotmail.com - i would like to come to both venues, i'm not sure yet whether i'm going to be able! - i'll investigate the cost of couriers - it's a bit of a strange "size" and not all of them will take them - ok??

We have had numerous articles delivered via the cvrda courier system including masts from FDs and Merlins. If you are not in a hurry we can usually work out someone going to somewhere near you.

That might work- Al's quite nearby and Ed's fairly local too.

At some point I may be heading to Kent to collect a boat, the time is not fixed yet but it will be in the spring. I know there is a dark piece of water and a huge distrust of them from over the other side but it would be a bit nearer you.
