In general classic racing dinghies aren't worth anything special, and an old Fireball wouldn't be an exception. restoring old dinghies is a pleasure, not a paying proposition. Doesn't mean it can't be saved though.

If condition is OK, then you should be able to save it. Whether it is worth saving is another question and really up to the owner.

Post some images and it will be easier to say.

I can try and get some photos I think I could get it up and running evenings & weekends before Christmas it needs a medium deck repair at the front the half decent cover has kept it reasonably well protected the trailer and launcher need overhauling and the sheets sorting neither I nor the owner have the time to do this I posted just in case anyone wanted a Fireball Ebay seems a pointless exercise so unfortunately it will be destroyed a tragedy in my opinion if it were a Cheetah Catamaran it would be a different matter ...

anp and Roger,

I believe Chris Turner is also on this site, under the username of 'Whacko!'; may also be worth sending a pm? I believe he posts here reasonably frequently....

Cheers,

If you took a couple of snaps of them or made a list and posted it here I am sure someone will find them a good home. Many of us can't stop ourselves from attracting bundles of older fittings that may be of use one day...
