hate.....hate.....hate those bailers.

At least the old brass ones were pretty....

but they all leak and jam

Indeed Ed,
I have one still on Merlin507, always used to leek, never very effective then got bent and jammed...now hammered shut, and doesn'y budge but doesn't leek now either.
A previous owner with a sense of humour had nicked a sign from the old British Railway train loo and screwed it by the bailer to read " Press lever to flush" It's still in the boat!
