Definitely not for £100 (reserve) on listing.

This looks like a chimaera,... a monster of several parts.

The Fairey bits (namely attachment "cheeks" that should hold the non-rotating gooseneck are a completelty different colour to the mast itself and have been bolted / screwed into position. The Fairey makers plate is similarly of a very different vintage. The mast itself is a rather shabby looking anodised alloy with what looks more like a Proctor cross section.

Although the mast has a Rotating mast foot it is fitted with a universal gooseneck, so although with some extra engineering this might allow the mast to "over-rotate" (in the manner of a Tasar rig) I doubt that this is allowed in the albacore class rules. It is held in place with a Jubilee clip because the "Goose neck cheeks that should be the correct mounting of a "fixed" gooseneck have sheared away with age or possibly becase the mast was used on a non rotating rig.

I am sure there are other question marks!

I think the only Fairey spar is the boom which is heavily corroded.

Definitely 'caveat emptor.'
