When you say "older" what age range are you looking at?
Are you looking for vintage, classic, old or prime of life as the later old boats are now called!

Older meaning before the very wide boats, preferably.....though I wouldn't discount anything to be honest!! It's to buy with a friend, who I've sailed many Merlins with, but who is a bit too fragile after an illness to travel far at the moment. Hence, I've seen 799 advertised, and it's a superb boat, but currently it's a bit too far to travel from my home in North Shropshire. But that can probably be discounted soon, so I'm just wondering what's available besides Roger's boat......

Hi my brother lives in Cheshire and he regularly travels this way with children to events so may be able to help with transport of the boat. I really need to move her on soon so am open to negotiation. She is indeed a lovely boat.
I fear she will have to go on the bay next month. :-(

Does that need re-decking, Ed?

Best wishes,

Think I posted something about this earlier.

Decks have been painted, so I would presume it needs to be replaced, but might be OK....just doubt it.

Has some other stuff, including foils, but would presume it needs a new rig. I have two masts and boom, but all are bent.

Has trolley, but no cover, trailer etc.
