I am with a re glued Shoestring. Need to sort a crew who doesnt mind sinking and hoping to try out fully battened main thanks to Brooksey.

It was a good event last year, and quite a few local classic and vintage boats too.
Not too far from either the east, south or the west coasts!!!
Roger if Shoestring is still in kit form the borrow-a-boat scheme is available.

IF... if things go to plan and 'scrapper supercrew' is free then team Smokey Bear , MR 3025, will be at Bough Beech with the declared aim of at least finishing a race! I've been out buying in more stocks of epoxy and 6" coach bolts so that the fittings on the front half of the boat are a little bit more secure for when jon sheets in....
Seriously, the mainsheet track is now installed into the boat, it just now needs the job tracks relocating and the boat can go afloat again.

I have not taken your advice to dismantle and start again. I have glued the seam and see if we float!! But thanks for the offer.

SP emergancy boat repair kit
Spare rivets, bolts, nuts, screws, blocks, deckeyes
Sail repair tape
AND 3 rolls of duck tape (1 for us, two for Roger!!)
Anything I've forgotten???
OH yes, sailing kit!!!
