I think I know, but again wouldn't want to spoil the fun.

So, how do we discuss our thoughts, without giving it away?

I also have an idea or two now.....

My idea would of been easy for Neil to guess....

Is the 'black flag' significant?

I'm getting a few pm's from people concerned that they may have the answer but don't want to give it away. Feel free to guess away on the open forum. If anyone gets it right I may pm them if they are absolutely confident and have the answer. However, it's my intention to keep everyone guessing until xmas eve when I'll reveal the boat and name a winner or anyone who's been especially clever along the way. And, if you're lost at the moment, don't worry, the clues will get a little more specific as time goes on.
Good luck!

OK, well I am going to throw out the first suggestion.....

and it is bound to be wrong....but here goes.....awaiting the cackles of derision...

a punt. or more precisely.....a Morrison designed Norfolk Punt.

(failing that one of the new thames raters)

Can't wait for the next one

Tried blowing it up, but becuase of the small file sizes, it pixelates long before you can read anything...

I've been wondering about an FD, but the scale seems wrong, somehow - the boat seems smaler compared to toe strap widths and the like.

And is it the class or the boat that doesn't qualify? I've been thinking the class, as the boat looks to be pre 1985. But then again, it might have just been used a lot!

Apologies for the black flag, I know it sends a shiver through the racers amongst us. Its only significance was to obscure the chartlet still stuck in the boat. Sorry Nessa, Rupert et al!

Day 6:
I'm clueless today, you'll have to make do with a picture:

Second Guess would be a Korsar, or maybe a Flying Junior but it's probably something boring like a Peggy.

Interesting is that a blocked off spin chute, and this boat has spin launch deck holes also? So - its lived enough to have enjoyed a few modifications then?
