Aussie scow Moths ... Lots of them !

For anyone that might be interested , I've recently been told about an Aussie scow Moth 'club' on Facebook.
There are lots of interesting old and new photo's and articles.

:lol: Brilliant site...Absolutely amazing...I love these dinghies. Had enormous fun in them and all of it is owed to the pioneers like what I just seen ( To misquote Ernie Wise) on this fantastic facebook site.

Its all there history archive material personal stories and pics from the time.

I think what I like so much is the spirit of invention: think it; build it; try it; burn it or buy it and then make it better.

And these boats like any good design are a delight when the move through the water. The Magnum 8 is just a gorgeous broad beam skiff - slim, shapely and very very elegant. Steady on boy ,steady on !!!

While the magnum 9.9 goes like a rocket in a breeze ....... if you can stay on !!!!
