Using the rudder as shown would certainly be challenging.

Yes, I think it is a Challenger. This had a small gunter rig, and the fibreglass hull was always blue. The boat was about 11ft long. Back in the early 70's these were sold through Boat World in Epsom, Surrey. They were designed by a D Pryke, but I have no note of who the builders were. Looks like Seamark Nunn, of Solo fame.
