The B class sail. Didn't John Montgomery do a Flying range of boats? C class was Flying Rocket. B class Flying Squirrel? Doesn't tie in with 18 foot length, though, for any B class barring grandfathered in classes.

Hi
The sails don't match the hulls the one with a lighting bolt is from a very rare MacAlpine-Downey Phoenix, B class maybe a Flying Streak, But the hulls look wrong the Phoenix had a Knuckle in the bow. John Montgomery's boats have a very distinctive hull shape and none of these hulls seem to be that shape. One of the boats maybe a Mystaire?. On re examining the photographs the boat named Flare does have the right shaped bow for a Phoenix but not enough of the hull is shown to see the knuckle. These cats are very rare the only other examples I know of are in Canada. The price differential between the Shark and the Phoenix was pretty close with most people opting for the larger Shark.
