Help and Information please

Post by mass »

Hello everyone. I am hoping that i can get some help and information from you guys please? I have recently moved to Penryn, Cornwall and i am hoping to start work on my Pegasus dinghy the only problem is that i have no where to do any work on her.

Does anyone have any advice information on who or where i could contact to find a location to do some work? there is not an extensive amount of work but there will be need for paint and varnish so if i can't find anywhere inside i will need to get a hold of some sort of Gazebo.

anyway thanks in advance for any help or advise

Do any of the boat yards still exist? I kept my Firefly at Fox's, but they turned that into houses years ago, I believe.

Google 'temporary garage'

They are much sturdier than gazebo's.

I would be tempted, if I had the space.

Cheers

You could try sending a pm to Dan with username = makerofthings

he is local to you and working for some boatbuilders at the moment, so may know of somewhere.

Machine Mart do reasonable portable garages
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/categorie ... ble+garage

ours is a Costco one about 20ft by 10ft and we've just reroofed it with a heavy tarpaulin. Not very temporary since it's been up about 8 years now and is well fixed down and weighted but ever so useful as an annexe in front of the garage.
