I don't think it's a Finn, as you say the mast socket is too far back. Maybe an o jolle if a single hander but the bow hole looks like the remains of a spinnaker chute so maybe a double hander - was there a small version of a Flying Dutchman?

Ebay tape measure. I reckon its an FD, I can see the characteristic FD genoa sheeting points.

I agree FD, Mirror looks tiny beside it. FJ is quite different.

FD for sure - but left outside uncovered for 5 years? That is an awful long time and I suspect she will need much TLC.

most probably a FD but if the measure at 16 Ft is correct could also be a Korsar (privateer - corsair) . famous mader boatyard made quite a nuber of them along with the top range FD and the tamer hard chine Kielzugvogel or Pirats

If it's 16ft long then it's not an FD unless someone has cut 3' 10" off it at sone time. Certainly not a Flying Junior.

The Flying Junior was mostly produced in Italy by ALPA and in the US by Harken/vanguard, there are not many of them in germany.
On the other hand Pirats and Korsars were active classes there for junior championships and back inthe 80's had a specific racing course at the KielerWoche.
