Mirror 154 - 1963 Mark 1 - For Sale.

Post by kevinwhead »

Mirror 154 has been much loved as an Original Mark 1 example but is now reluctantly up for sale.

Comes with the original lace up sails arrangement (wooden mast), as well as an up to date racing rig including a spinnaker crane and pole etc Including an alloy mast. White hull and wooden varnished interior, no soft bits, remarkable condition given its age. Comes ready to sail with two tillers, the original 1963 design and a modern version which doesn’t catch the mainsheet during a gybe. Dry and Garaged, the boom up cover is practically brand new. Also an authentic mirror launching trolley to complete the setup. (doesn’t include the trailer pictured). 600 pounds.

I'm ashamed to say that I didn't complete the renovation of 388, I sold it instead in peices.
There's mirror 152 on this website - so its not that uncommon; There again, it only takes a short period of neglect for an old wooden boat to get written off. I'm hoping that somebody who would appreciate Mirror 154 for what it is will take it on and look after it for what it is. Being 46 years old having the original lace up parts has to be something special.
