Clywedog Rally 2021

Post by keithr »

Hi all

I am sorry not too post sooner but this blasted Covid has really restricted the club.

WE are hoping to go ahead but at the moment the clubhouse has limited access to loos and fresh water only.

At present the kitchen remains closed so it will be self catering.

It would be great to know who is coming, what dinghy, campervan, motorhome, tent, how long for and how many in your party.

As always come early and stay longer so you are making the trip worthwhile.

See you all soon.

Hi Keith,
Do the latest changes to the rules in Wales make a difference for us?

At the moment no water as the pump has failed for 2nd time in 2wks. Plumbers are on the case so hope to have fixed by Bank Hol. New Covid Regs will hopefully be updated soon by Commodore and Committee.

Hi Keith,
We are planning to arrive on Friday morning as we will be staying on a campsite near Rhayader for a few days beforehand. We will be in our usual motorhome with a Moth of some sort, hopefully the Shelley if it's ready in time. Depending what time we finish sailing on Bank Holiday Monday we will probably set off as soon as we are packed up and ready. We are both looking forward to seeing you and everyone else who is coming and hope you manage to get the restrictions eased before the event.
Best Regards
Ian and Wendy

Hi Keith,
I hope all is still going to plan. I will turn up with campervan and Moth sometime Friday evening, and staying till Monday.
If you have any more details of start times etc we can add an event invite to the Lowrider Moth Facebook page.

Look forward to seeing all at Clywedog again,

Lyndon

Hallo Keith,
Very sorry to say that we will not be coming this year. Lois has not been well but seems to be getting better slowly ( not COVID by the way) but since it is Amy’s wedding the following weekend we want to be 100% …if poss.
I think it may be only the second or third time we have missed coming to Clywedog which we always really enjoy but I’m sure you will all have a great time.
Good luck

Hello, hopefully coming down Saturday am and Sunday at least. Worlds shabbiest camper and Albacore 1745's first time in the water for approx. 30 years (no really, I don't even know if the bailers leak).
