Hi
Even though I'm in London that weekend I'm not allowed to go to the show. Reason is that it's Shonas birthday and the whole point for being in London is to see Warhorse. However I've managed to persuade her to allow me to go to the Natural History Museum, but the Dinghy Shows definitely out.
Have a good time .

I'll be there both days as the Merlins want 'Gently' on the stand so will be up with the boat.

And a little bit more of an update for those of you who will be at the Show!

If you cast your minds back to this time last year, I was scheduled to be the lunchtime speaker with the topic being on how the Merlin, then the Merlin Rockets, had influenced the wider UK racing dinghy scene.

But then..... the RYA, in their wisdom, decided that Dinghy Cruising was the topic that everyone wanted to hear so I was bumped off the schedule. Fast forward to this year, I'm back on the roster for main stage duties...but hang on, we need more dinghy cruising.

As a result, my 'slot' has been put back to 5pm. Seeing it's a 45 minute talk with15 minutes of Q&A...it looks as if I'll be talking to the cleaners.

On the Sunday, I don't even make Main Stage but am in the Lonsdale Suite doing the talk for RYA Gold members - so if you're an RYA Gold Card holder and are coming to the Show Sunday it will be lovely to see a happy face in the audience.

for the rest of the time I'm floating around the Show - will have books to sell, talks to promote so if you want either - either the MR stand or the bar by the organ pipes.

See you there

Ha..... you're asking ME? I am only the person giving the talk, so I'll be the last to hear.

Someone on the Sunday...

We'll be there on Saturday - and we usually stay to the bitter end so there'll be a couple of people in your audience David!

I am there on Saturday helping on the International Canoe stand. Also possibly late Sunday to help with packing up.

I'll be there, having lunch with other club of the year nominees. Not sure what to expect, hopefully bread rolls to throw!

Otherwise, I'll be wandering around looking lost as usual, spending time looking at MS number 1, the new Lightning and hopefully catching up under the organ.
